SLNKO Energy Incorporates SLNKO Botswana in Gaborone

SLNKO Energy has incorporated SLNKO Botswana, registered in Gaborone on 13 July 2026. It is the group's first entity outside India and will serve as its base for Southern Africa.

SLNKO Botswana will pursue work across industrial and mining infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy and wider infrastructure development, applying the engineering, procurement and project management methods the group has used to deliver over 9.2 GW of capacity across 19 Indian states since 2018.

Botswana offers a stable operating environment, a position within the Southern African Development Community that supports regional reach, and an industrial and mining base with substantial power and infrastructure requirements.

The initial focus is on establishing local partnerships and building technical capability in-country. SLNKO's model is engineering-led rather than equipment-led, which allows the company to work alongside local contractors and suppliers rather than displace them.
